Ellen White-Lord's Messenger
Born 11/26/1827 - died 7/16/1915
She became a messenger for the Lord during her life time. The
close of the Scripture canon did not mark the cessation of Heaven's
communications with man. In His divine wisdom and foresight Christ bestowed
upon His church until the end of time, certain spiritual gifts for he
edification and upbuilding of His children. These
gifts are enumerated by the Apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 12:4-11 "Now
there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.... the manifestation
of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.... to another
prophecy." Both the Old Testament and the New Testament scriptures
have come to us through the gift of prophecy manifested
